The aim of this training is to inform the audience about the experiences and knowledge gained by participants of the CEPOL Exchange Programme 2023. This session will focus on the differences and similarities of the Serbian and Portuguese legal systems in combatting environmental crimes. The exchangees will also share recent professional experiences in environmental crime in those countries.

With this exchange-bite, the audience will be able to:

• Enhance general knowledge and understanding of the Serbian and Portuguese criminal law,
• Acquire new information about Environmental Crimes that are proscribed by Criminal Codes,
• Take cognizance of measures that are taken in order to collect evidences and prosecute the suspects that committed Environmental Crimes
• Understand the significance of the suppressing Environmental Crimes and raise awareness in that important field
• Understand the significance of the Exchange Programme, networking and future mutual cooperation.
