OBJECTIVES
The aim of this webinar is to raise awareness on the European Multidisciplinary Platform Against Criminal Threats (EMPACT) cycle 2026-2029 and the EU`s crime priorities as well as to enhance knowledge on roles and responsibilities of participants..
By the end of this webinar, the audience will be able to:
- Outline the strategic and operational expectations in the new EMPACT cycle;
- Explain the involvement of member states and European Union institutions, bodies and agencies in the EMPACT 2026-2029;
- Understand the role and responsibilities of participants in EMPACT.
TARGET GROUP
EMPACT participants: Law enforcement officers (police, gendarmerie, border and coast guards, customs and tax officers, inspectors), judicial authorities (prosecutors, judges), and all relevant officials of the competent authorities of Member States and non-EU countries, as well as officials of EU institutions, bodies and agencies/international organisations, to be involved in the new EMPACT cycle 2026–2029 and in the implementation of the Operational Action Plans.
