Aim and learning outcomes

The aim of this webinar is to introduce law enforcement and judicial officers into the phenomenon of illicit ketamine markets in Europe. By the end of this webinar, the audience will be able to:

  • Explain what ketamine is and which are its potential dangers;
  • List the key elements of the operational action related to ketamine withing the EMPACT priority Synthetic Drugs / NPS;
  • Describe in general terms the situation of ketamine markets in Europe, particularly in Austria, Germany and the Netherlands;
  • List the key ketamine challenges from a public prosecution's perspective of the Netherlands.
Target group

Law enforcement and judicial authorities, (forensic) experts dealing with investigation and prosecution of drug-related serious and organised crime.
