Aim and learning outcomes
The aim of this webinar is to introduce law enforcement and judicial officers into the phenomenon of illicit ketamine markets in Europe, with a particular focus public health. By the end of this webinar, the audience will be able to:
- Explain the response of the European Union Drug Agency (EUDA) to dynamic drug problems;
- Explain why humans use drugs and where they use it;
- List EUDA's multiple monitoring approaches to get an as complete as possible picture of drug problems;
- List EUDA's known unknown populations of drug users;
- List the characteristics of high availability of a wider range of potent drugs and their public health impact;
- Describe the ketamine-related public health and public order issues in the Netherlands.
Target group
Law enforcement and judicial authorities, (forensic) experts dealing with investigation and prosecution of drug-related serious and organised crime.
