About this course

Aim and learning outcomes

The aim of this webinar is to introduce law enforcement and judicial officers into the phenomenon of illicit ketamine markets in Europe, with a particular focus on law enforcement cooperation. By the end of this webinar, the audience will be able to:

  • Explain the importance of a multidisciplinary strategy to effectively combat ketamine trafficking;
  • Describe what is meant with integrated approach to cooperation;
  • Describe the importance of EMPACT for international law enforcement cooperation, in terms of expert meetings, development of methods for law enforcement, training and capacity building and cooperation with the private sector;
  • Describe national cooperation requirements for law enforcement with different partners such as police, customs, prosecution services, public health sector and others;
  • List tools enabled by international cooperation such as those provided by EUDA, INCB and CEPOL.
Target audience

Law enforcement and judicial authorities, (forensic) experts dealing with investigation and prosecution of drug-related serious and organised crime.
