OBJECTIVES

This webinar aims to raise awareness of the recruitment and psychological control of child victims of trafficking exploited by criminal networks.
By the end of this webinar, the audience will be able to:

  • Identify the risks of trafficking faced by vulnerable and displaced children;
  • Recognise grooming as a driver for child disappearance;
  • Describe recruitment methods and psychological control tactics used by the criminals to exploit minors;
  • Summarise the role of digital tools/AI in combating child trafficking and online crime in general.
