OBJECTIVES

The aim of the webinar is to make awareness and promote Europol`s Operational Task Forces that provide tailor-made operational support to fight High Risk Criminal Networks in cross-border investigations. By the end of this webinar, the audience will be able to:

• Describe the concepts of Operational Task Force (OTF) and High Value Target (HVT) in particular the selection of a HVT. Outline the objectives and the main line of actions of the EMPACT HRCN OAP
• Explain the financial support provided by Europol for MS to run Operational Task Forces
• Outline the benefits of short-term-Seconded National Experts supporting Operational Task Forces
• Share example of law enforcement operation carried out with the support of an Operational Task Force
